THE NEXT LEVEL PROGRAM
Under the supervision of tcgos.com, YHH.ROCKS and DH PRISON MINISTRIES have partnered to create a new program called “Next Level”.
The program will be used to bring all youth (especially those in the judicial system) to the next level.
All youth have two ways to grow in this world. One is to follow the law of the land, the other is to fight the system and face the consequences.
The first choice is very easy for the “Next Level Program” to fulfill. The big challenge come when working with youths who are in one of the three stages of a criminal life. One is before incarceration, two is when a youth is in prison, and the third is when they come out of prison.
There are many great organizations helping all three stages. The problem is they are using the same methods, procedures, and data they have used for many years. The youth of today are not the youth of 50 years ago or even 20 or 10 years.
As long as Hollywood and social media continue to glamorize the bad-guy-image our youth will believe that a life of crime for a few years, is better then a life-time of struggling to make ends meet.
We need to give all youth three things:
A) RESPECT – Ours and self
B) LOVE – We need to show we really care
C) HOPE – Whatever profession they choose, we will be their beside them until they can make it on their own.
